What has happened to Dr. ReMine? Is he still at the clinic? Someone told me he was forced to leave because of Medicare Carilion Fraud.

If I were you I would be very careful.  You have just accused a physician of "Medicare Carilion Fraud".  If not true I would encourage Dr. ReMine to bring a lawsuit against this web site and to force the disclosure of your IP Address and then bring a lawsuit against you also.

Dr. Remine is still listed as a Carilion physician.

Don't worry. If Dr. Remine or Carilion takes action against what you
said, I'll be glad to present my Dad's medical records.
My Dad could speak for himself if he were here. He died of pancreatic
cancer. This is two Christmas's I've spent without him. I thank Dr.
Remine and Carilion for that. I have not heard whether or not he is
guilty of medicare fraud or not........I would not doubt it...but I KNOW
he misdiagnosed my Dad . Some specialist.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carilion needs to realize there ARE people who WILL fight them.
And there ARE people who don't really care how much authority, power,
and money they have. People are fed up with CARILION and I am certainly one of them.

I am very sorry for your loss.

However, you accused Dr. ReMine of Medicare fraud in your first post, but then in your next post you state "I have not heard whether or not he is guilty of medicare fraud or not".  Your rightful anger at losing your dad does not give you the right to accuse a doctor of "Medicare fraud".

If there was medical malpractice involved there is a proper venue for airing your complaint - The Court - not this web site, where the doctor can not defend himself.

Who are you to tell anyone else what to do?

Obviously, a Carilion player.

Ok, let me tell you once more.....:::::: There are some people who do

NOT care for Carilion.

Sorry - my mix up as to who was posting.

No - I don't obviously work for Carilion nor am I a Carilion player, what ever that is.  I just have a different opinion than you.  A different opinion seems to automatically make someone work for Carilion.  That is just ignorant.

Again, I am sorry for your loss.  I have lost relatives at a Carilion facility and they were being treated by Carilion physicians.  I have lost other relatives at Lewis-Gale and they were being treated by Lewis-Gale physicians.  At both places I saw caring people doing the best they could.  Yes, I was mad but later realized they do just that - the best they can.  Yes, I still blame one Lewis-Gale physician for the unnecessary death of a relative because of improper treatment.  I have made the decision to move on and just not ever seek treatment from that physician or have anyone in my family treated by that physician.

I just don't happen to believe that making a charge against a person on this forum is the proper venue - that is what the courts are for - where the doctor can defend himself, if he can.

I am sorry for your loss as well.

We do disagree. And that's allowed.

But until you using the " proper venue" you probably are unaware

of how many attorney's are unable to take cases against Carilion

because of conflict of interests.  And the rest are unwilling.

This is about responsible healthcare. What better place to warn

people when the accusations are true, as mine are.

Also, as you stated earlier, the doctor DOES have an option to

follow the suggestions in your earlier post.....and sue for slander.

I did not do the origional post.....the person just asked a question

and the doctor could have defended himself , or you could have,

by stating the charge was not true.

Also, I think the REAL problem with this is that he is on the Board

of Govenors or whatever with Carilion. He is also holds some postion

with the Carilion /Va. Tech school of Medicine .

He is more of an administrator , meeting-goer, pr person, " and

writer of publications than anything else.
