I'm sorry but I don't agree with you. I was a Director of Bear-Stearns (now Chase Bank) and a 30 year computer vet with a family of 5 and a 6 figure salary. My family and friends are strongly against the current bill in the current form and against your solution too. I would eliminate for profit medical insurance and set up a 1 payer system that gives that payer the ability to negotiate pricing with providers only. Patients should pay a premium when they work and nothing when they don't, just like social security. Patients should not be asked for any, repeat any, money out of pocket. No co-pays, No stop loss, nothing out of pocket. Patients don't now, and will never have the ability to fairly negotiate with multi-million dollars corporations and their lawyers. All people and corporations should pay the same percentage of income (for people) and capital gains (for businesses) to cover the cost of Health Care. We need the government to "End Legalized Thief called Medical Insurance Now” and “End Bankruptcy over Medical Bills Now”. I don't carry if it costs 100 Trillion Dollars, it the right and fair thing to do. Start representing the common people and stop representing the companies who are no better than a scam artist. I'm willing to fight for this even if it means civil war again in our country because I am convinced it is what is best for my children. It's time for the little people to take back our country from the Insurance Thieves.
